Found it all pretty anticlimactic tbh.

+1
I love the spectacle of Monaco but the race itself is one of the more boring of the season.
Practise should not overshadow raceday and unfortunately this race is one that does.
Time to bite the bullet and ditch it as a venue for F1.

Sent from my GT-I9003 using Thaivisa Connect App
If not ditch it (and as boring as it can be, i would find the thought of doing so very sad) then at the very least don't add more of these borefest street tracks to the calander, as they have done with Valencia etc. One per season is more than enough thanks.

Speaking of boredom, how many more times in my life do i have to be told that driving the Monaco F1 race is just like riding a bicycle around your living room? Somebody buy Slater a new analogy for Christmas!

Congrats to Mark.

Have to say though, in spite of how tightly packed the top five or six were at the end, i can't remember a much more boring Monaco race. Yes we all know that over-taking is nigh on impossible, but usually there is a bit of vying and challenging going on. Today they were bumper to bumper but nobody ever looked like they even contemplated making a move.

Shucks if Button can't make a move on a Caterham, what possible chance is there of a Red Bull making a move on a Ferrari, or a Mercedes on a Red Bull?

Found it all pretty anticlimactic tbh.

1) The only hole that was being dug was yours with regards the daft claim you made about the entire civilised world's thoughts.

2) You were asking me to admit defeat. To repeat, since i made no claim, what am i to admit defeat about?

I can only repeat the advice given earlier.
Well that's not quite the only thing you could do. You could answer my question... or maybe you couldn't?

Whilst i am very accustomed to having a completely contrasting opinion to you, i usually feel our disagreements are argued on a reasonably sane and reasoned plain - at least i think so. I can't say that for today. But perhaps it's me, not you... perhaps it's finally happened... perhaps i've gone crazy...

Unbelievable. Why post at all on Thai politics if you haven't bothered to read about local and international perception. You could admit defeat gracefully but I would be surprised.
This is getting silly. Just because i'm not scouring through all the archives right this minute to find what you demand i do, doesn't mean i haven't ever bothered reading anything on Thai politics.

As for admitting defeat, precisely what am i supposed to be defeated about? I haven't made any claims whatsoever in any of this, besides to contest how you manage to have summarised the thoughts of the entire civilised world.

It's an old piece of advice but when on a hole best stop digging.I have already said civilised opinion is a subjective concept but that wise and experienced commentators provide an important insight.

I'm not asking you to do anything now.If you have paid any attention over the last few years to the debate on Thailand you would be able to recall key elements.
