Very painful bites and stings, some Thais claim they can kill you, I doubt them but wouldn't want to test it out.

From what I've read it's possible but pretty rare. Seems likely you could go into shock from the pain and then drown though. Assuming it really is a centipede of course.

The Canadian clown's selfishness has cost two lives. Drink driving is a significantly more despicable act than many things people get long jail sentences for.

You already read one. The first chapter of Graham's book says pretty much all that can be sensibly said about this new approach to the new market. That doesn't mean he was right of course, but what he does say is the only rational evidence-based conclusion one can come to.Including the bit about it being super-fun when you're winning.
