I was there a couple weeks ago, and was talking with some girls that loved the idea, and were going to check out of their hotel and relocate to Rick N Rolls.
I don't understand all the negativity about the place, 350 baht is not an absurd amount and the place looks great.
All I can say is good luck Rick, I hope it all works out for you.

I just recently bought a Samsung LED 3D, and love it so far. It has a small bezel and the picture is really good. I have only owned LCD's so can't compare to Plasma, but it doesn't seem to give off too much heat. Still a little warm to the touch.
