Puzzled and confused as ever.

Are we saying that SKing is a sponsor?  In process?

Never mind.  I found the web site.

Cannot tell for sure if a customer can go to the place and buy - say a kilo of meatloaf and other fzn dinners.  Gather so from remarks, but this is not suggested on their web.

However, there are two addresses -  and the site's hours, which are in reference to deliveries, and they jump about.

So, FINALLY, I arrive:  Where do I go to buy (aside from Rimping) and when?  Google maps helps, but with two addy's and unclear hours....

Thanks in advance for those who have been there.

You can go to his place to buy but its in San Sai out of town and not so easy to find, so he focus's on DELIVERY of his productsinto Chiang mai and also using Meals on Wheels  if you don't want to buy from the supermarket just call the number and order and it can be delivered right to you.

Not sure if he has a place in town that you can go to other than the Supermarkets

A bunch of farangs got busted for working without a work permit in Chiang Mai about 12 years ago. Those that paid a big "fine" were allowed to continue doing so and those that refused were locked in the immigration jail for months and then shipped home with a banned stamp in their passport.

I see loads of bar owners behind there bars working happily away when its obvious they don't have a permit to do, the reason they can do it is  there is no enforcement so they are not scared of the BIB at the moment but like many issues one day the BIB will have a crackdown for a day and many will be heading home or will be incarcerated with a big fine pending release.

A company beginning with the letter D make cheese here in CM....
really not worth buying though imho, as it has almost no
taste/flavour, even the goat cheese is unbearably bland UNLESS
you bake it on a pizza, then there is a hint of goat about it...
maybe this has to do with the milk quality here in CM?

David
oh good we've got a new game top play, guess the cheese shop. my guess is dacheeso. whats the prize?

He is lying

thats not cheese

If I am correct from reading another post this enquirery is about milk and not beef. If you want a supplier of cheap fresh milk (not pasturized) then go to the Chiang Mai university agriculture department. If I remember they sell 1 liter for 25 baht. They may reduce that cost if purchasing large orders.

If you are going to make cheese, I would recommend taking a cheese making course from a professional. There are too many people trying to make cheese without the proper technique and it can be fatal. Botulism is nothing to take lightly. But since you are a professional butcher and probably make salamis and other dry cured products you know the risks.

good luck

If it is for beef, then sorry to waste your time.

thank you for you reply and like making sausage and bacon we manufacture in a professional way as not to have things like botulism and all our food products have to go  to be lab tested for the FDA which we hold certificate for and we have our own team who are specialist in cheese making and we need only raw ingredients and milk is one of the products we need. i have been to the agriculture department at the majo university and this is ok but they cant supply my company in the long term. i was not aware that there was an other agriculture dept at chiang mai university ?? but thanks for you reply and we will offer you a piece of our cheese to try first when made. i think it will do you more good than harm. Rob.

good idea and if you survive it I'm up for a couple of kilos :D
