Well once again bureaucrats kill hard work potential,
RIP KKfc ,
I was looking on the net and the place they will have to play is around 75 to 85 km out of Khonkaen ,
I can't see the supporters travelling that far myself .
I am more than a little p*ssed off at this news as have been following the progress of the T-Rex over the last few years and this year will be moving to Issaan .
I was looking forward to going to support them along with a few ferang mates but will now not be able to go as it will mean a round trip of well over 250km as our village is some 55 km from the Khonkaen stadium.
By moving the team they will not generate any income to improve the stadium facilities and therefore KK fc will become Maha Sakram FC and all those fans from KK will be left without a team and the team will get less support from a smaller catchment area.
The Thai PL should get a grip , its not like they are hosting Liverpool or Man utd , Asenal etc,.
The facilities I am sure would be fine for the moment and the extra support would have created extra income to help develop the club, by moving it they will destroy it just like the English FA did by moving Wimbledon FC to Milton Keynes. I saw this happen a few years ago to my local RL club who won their division and promotion to the Super league but were not allowed in due to their stadium being small,it ruined them and they are now languishing 2 divisions down and struggling for survival.

We had a bore hole test last year , they found water and dropped a pump in / connected it all up, no license just did it .
I had nothing to do with it though as I was in the UK so the mother in law organised all,it no problems.

Our nephew was killed on his motorbike in December 2009 .
My wife told me that due to the nature of his death ( ie untimely/ accident / before his time ) and his age (15 years) that he would not be cremated straight away .
His body was taken to the local wat where it is now entombed in concrete.
My father in law died last year and he was cremated but not for 4 days after he died , this year we hare having a memorial celebration for them to raise money for the wat, then my father in laws remains will be put int a shrine either in the wats wall or in the grounds next to the wall.
Its all a bit confusing to me but it seems that young people are not always cremated straight away,
From what I understand through the wife is that once we have had the memorial party for the father in law and our nephew they will then exhume his body from the concrete and then cremate the remains.
It seems the memorial party will cost around 100,000 baht and all the revelers are asked for donations and then the donations are given to the wat.
Last year we attended one and there was around 1,500 people there so if they all donated 20 baht then they would have raised around 300,000 baht.
I actually think its a very nice way to send someone off and remember them while at the same time raising money for the local temple and monks.

The food is pretty good too.
Thomas the owner is a German chap who is a really nice bloke.

Oh dear , this all smacks of ageism to me.
Viva la budgie smugglers
Theres nothing worse than a hairy ass hanging out of a pair of speedos. bloody hell I haven't worn them since before my teens and although am no where near 50 yet and reasonably fit definitely wouldn't be seen dead in them now, but each to their own .
