#5286062 Australian Aged Pension

It seems they have now stated some firm guidelines.
If you lived in Australia all your working life they will pay you the full pension (less special allowances) presumably whereever you choose to live. Lesser pension for lesser residency .
Is this correct, and does the 2 year qualifying still apply?

I don't know if I am allowed to do this, but here I go anyway.
State of the Forum in this posters view is bleak. I think we should make some basic rules, because in the few years I've been on here it has spiraled in what one poster said was "a bunch of old women". After having seen the answers to a couple easy topics today, I'm almost ready to agree.............Stupid arguments over much ado about nuthin.
A guy can't ask about specific Songkran Days, nor about a watersport without the group here jumping on a suitcase like a Samsonite Monkey.
So what do you say we clean it up.
1. if you have something helpful, insightful or a direct answer, post. Otherwise don't.
2. telling someone to go use Google, is bad netiquette, out right rude
3. if you want to contribute (#1), maybe you could take a shot at #2, then post saying what you found
4.if you are just out for an argument, go kick the dog instead (although I hope it bites you or pees in the house in response)
5.try and be positive at least 95% of the time
Now get out from behind your box and go throw some water. GOM

glimmer of hope for city, we have 2 home games now before the derby, if we can win those two we are in a good position, any more points dropped could spell a problem.

We were out of sorts from the get-go, but not to take anything away from Wigan, they played out of their skins and were better all over the park.
They should have been one goal up at half time. What the linesman was thinking i don't know. Seems like the officials are out to make us look like we are portrayed. Still they did even things up a bit in the second half, with the corner kick that wasn't and the hand ball that was.
Anyway, 5 point gap now and if that gap remains, or god forbid gets smaller, then the game at City will still have a lot riding on it.
Haven't a clue what mind games Mancini thinks he is playing by first of all saying that he didn't know we were playing last night, and then saying, having reduced the gap considerably, that the title race is all over as his team don't have the spirit that Man United does. True or not, and long odds or not, City are still mathematically in it. Don't see how the manager throwing in the towel does anything except perhaps make him look a bit silly if they do make a miracle.

Some will of course say that defending is first and foremost what he is there for, and there is a lot of truth to that, but defenders at United are expected to offer more, and indeed it is demanded of them. All the time that is the case, i think we have to accept there will be the occasional error.
And of course the errors are not helped by having to play a different back four in virtually every game, and missing guys like Vidic, who not only defends brilliantly, but organises - especially important when your keeper isn't that good in that part of the game.
