It seems they have now stated some firm guidelines.
If you lived in Australia all your working life they will pay you the full pension (less special allowances) presumably whereever you choose to live.  Lesser pension for lesser residency .

Is this correct, and does the 2 year qualifying still apply?

I don't know if I am allowed to do this, but here I go anyway.

State of the Forum in this posters view is bleak. I think we should make some basic rules, because in the few years I've been on here it has spiraled in what one poster said was "a bunch of old women".  After having seen the answers to a couple easy topics today, I'm almost ready to agree.............Stupid arguments over much ado about nuthin.

A guy can't ask about specific Songkran Days, nor about a watersport without the group here jumping on a suitcase like a Samsonite Monkey.

So what do you say we clean it up.

1. if you have something helpful, insightful or a direct answer, post. Otherwise don't.
2. telling someone to go use Google, is bad netiquette, out right rude
3. if you want to contribute (#1), maybe you could take a  shot at #2, then post saying what you found
4.if you are just out for an argument, go kick the dog instead (although I hope it bites you or pees in the house in response)
5.try and be positive at least 95% of the time

Haven't a clue what mind games Mancini thinks he is playing by first of all saying that he didn't know we were playing last night, and then saying, having reduced the gap considerably, that the title race is all over as his team don't have the spirit that Man United does. True or not, and long odds or not, City are still mathematically in it. Would all the Berbatov knockers like to come forward, bow their collective heads, and admit that is probably one of the finest displays by a striker, at OT, in recent memory. The overhead may well be goal of the season. Then again a lot of Berbatov knockers,not including intelligent and knowledgeable United supporters of course , wouldn't know a football from a pumpkin so its unlikely to happen.
