As Kindle Fire is, normally, only for US market, is it possible to use it here? I mean order Kindle books on the Internet => stock in your PC? Directly in your Kindle?
Amazon knows that you are not in the US, is it a reason good enough to do not deliver your purchase?
What about the non-Amazon format? Kindle Fire is supposed to read them. True or not?

Man kann Helene Hegemanns Axolotl Roadkill nicht mehr unbefangen zur Hand nehmen. Selbst Leser, die sich nicht durchs deutsche Feuilleton oder seine Kompilation im „Perlentaucher“ wühlen, wissen, dass im Buch nicht alles von der Autorin, sondern vieles aus fremder Feder, zumeist von einem ehemaligen Techno-Blogger, stammt. So sah sich die zunächst als Junggenie gefeierte Schriftstellerin von der Literaturkritik schon bald als Kopistin entlarvt. Warum also, so wird sich da mancher fragen, soll man das Buch über eine ebenso verwöhnte wie verwahrloste 16-jährige Schulverweigerin namens Mifti, ihre selbstzerstörerischen Berliner Drogen-, Party- und Sprachexzesse überhaupt noch lesen?

Nüchtern betrachtet muss man es wohl konstatieren: Ja, Hegemann hat abgeschrieben. Nein, es ist nicht okay, wie die Autorin den Diebstahl fremder Kreativität im Nachhinein nicht nur herunterzuspielen, sondern gar als natürliche Copy-and-Paste-Geste einer Generation Google zu stilisieren suchte – auch wenn sich in eben dieser Generation Google das Verhältnis zum Urheberrecht gerade offenbar tatsächlich bedrohlich zu wandeln scheint. Aber Hegemann hat Axolotl Roadkill auch nicht, wie hin und wieder im Feuilleton behauptet, eins zu eins kopiert. Das in der 4. Auflage des Buchs nachgereichte Quellenverzeichnis zeigt, dass ihre Raubzüge durchaus überschaubar sind. Der Rest ist ganz eigen, mitunter originell, manchmal sperrig, oft auf kalkulierte Weise abstoßend, hin und wieder kindisch, aber zumeist doch erfrischend zu lesen.

Nein, Helene Hegemann hat das, was sie schildert, wohl nicht erlebt. Vielleicht war ihre Jugend öde, wie jetzt mancher Kritiker, etwas höhnisch mutmaßt. Egal. Auch Günter Grass musste kein Glas zersingen können, um die Blechtrommel zu schreiben. Und Vladimir Nabokov ist (glücklicherweise) nicht verliebt mit einer Minderjährigen von Motel zu Motel gereist, und trotzdem ist Lolita ein Meisterwerk. Dies nun ist Axolotl Roadkill, leider, nicht. Aber es ist um vieles besser als manches, was sonst so als neue deutsche Literatur auf den Markt schwemmt.
