Darkside blogger
Rather racist comment, suggesting that foreigners learnt their wicked ways fom the Mafia Thais. Obviously you have a poor view of The Thai nationality, which makes me wonder why you are here?
I have been in Thailand for many years, I would trust a Thai long before I would trust another Farang. A percentage of foreingers that come here are riff raff and dropkicks in their own countries ( may I say at the same time there are also a percentage of good decent people who love Thailand ).
Obviously your intelligence is limited to if something is wrong, blame it on a Thai. Grow up.

Accidents happen everywhere, not just Phuket.
In the last week on 3 consecutive days, at a small U turn on the Sai Yok/Kanchanaburi road, there were 3 seperate accidents, with 4 adults dead and one small child, all these were on motorbikes. None of the accidents were due to the motorcylists, the issue was the 3 vehicles that didn't stop at the red light.
More driver education is needed, a safety awareness campaign and more stringent testing for licenses and more road patrol. However with regards to the testing, that will only help if they are bothering to get a license because many drivers I know have none.

No, they are not married, just living together ( Defacto). However they are talking about marriage, well, marrying the Thai way and have it registered at the Amphur. She does not want to go to the trouble of dealing with the Aussie embassy as she has no intentions of going back to that country. So would that type of marriage be seen as legal and would it suffice for her to obtain a spouse visa.
