Deceitful is what BA does - mind you their taxes and surcharges are so eye watering it must be embarrassing to publish them.

As far as surcharges, Ive never understood why they are not just included in the fare - after all, they are hardly likely to be withdrawn!

Don't start Dindong, or I'll have to come round on a daily basis to ask you about your diesel etc!

Flying Poo air was a bit like flying over Germany in a Lancaster - cold, noisy, uncomfortable and you could never be sure that you would make it back!

Basically. I think that there is simply not enough demand for direct flights UK - Phuket.

Mind you, I loved Poo Air, if only because the girls smiled so sweetly as we staggered across the skies in their ancient Boeings....the whole thing was just so Thai optimistic!

Given that most Thai tools (in my experience) seem to be made of cheese, then I would suggest you bring them with you, metric or not!

I'd also hang on to the electrical tools! Most of the ones i have sourced locally are crap.

Little Miss JAG starts P1 next week, Fees at Santi Vithaya Convent School Chiang Rai (Intensive English Programme) come in at B12000 per Semester, this includes school lunches.

Best Beloved has just spent B1270 on 3 sets of everyday uniform, a set of PE kit and a special shirt to wear on Fridays. This was from the school shop, and includes having her name embroidered on the shirts.

All in all I thought quite a reasonable price for having the Love of God beaten into your daughter by nuns! (before anyone gets carried away, I jest, the quality of her education throughout Anuban compares well with a private prep school in the UK, and the staff were great).
