Hi all, Hope you are all well on this festive season. I have a couple of visa queries i hope someone can help me with. I hold a british passport and reside in thailand on a retirement extension with the money in a thai bank method , I am trying to obtain an australian tourist visa for my better half ,,, 43 years old thai fiance of 4 years ,, so she can accompany me to the wedding of my son in australia in april . Along with the invitation card , i also have a seperate letter of invitation and support from the brides parents , stating that all accommodation , and food , will be provided by them at there home in oz . for the duration of one months stay, which is the requested visa time of stay . Question ,,, do they have to supply means of adequate funds ? if yes ,, should i ask them to remove the food part , would that make a difference ?....... Also ,,, about 15 years years ago , my fiance underwent an operation to remove a brain tum er , this has left her dependend on medication ,, taken as prescribed , she leads a normal [ please do not quote me , she's thai ,,,] life,,, without medication she would be prone to epeliptic fits ,, Question,,, anyone have any similar experience of this with regards applying for an oz, visa , how serious do immigration view this ?,, can it be covered by a medical plus insurance ??.. thanks in advance to all ,,,,,, i take this opportunity to say thank you for all prievious snippets of information gleamed from this forum over the years,, and the intertainment :jap:,,,
