My son had a 1 yr ED visa (multi-entry) it was his first year at the language school here in Hua Hin, he had to report every 90 days (like us all) when we were told they had been a change just wondered why that is all, when we lived in Bangkok and he studied at Language school he only had a 90 day visa.
Our son is from Myanmar he is here on a ED Visa - he goes to language school twice a week for Thai, also twice a week for English, plus he does Computer Studies- he has to report like everyone every 90 days and has to have all the legal paperwork from the Language School - he always has his lesson plan and hrs attended available for checking if required - When our son arrived from Myanmar he was on a tourist visa - the Walen School was excellent they arranged for all of our sons paperwork to be in place and ready for us to go to Singapore to apply for his ED Visa - if you do everything legally you will have no problem - good luck with your studies - we are so proud of our son and what he has acheived in just one year -But! this was only possible for us to achieve, because of all the help and advice plus the encouragement we received from this Forum - So a very big thank you to you all - we are lucky that we have our son here with us in Thailand and he is enjoying his life.
