I received this announcement from the FCCT this week. Does anyone know whether this applies to foreign journos working for domestic media as well as foreign journos working for international publications? Or only the latter? The explanation on the MFA website isn’t clear.
Was anyone reading this present at the mentioned press briefing?
New online Registration for Journalists
Thailand's Ministry of Foreign Affairs has developed a new online registration system for journalists, which will go live from Monday, August 16.
All journalists already accredited in Thailand, must register online. Anyone seeking accreditation should also do it online.
The MFA in a briefing to some foreign journalists also emphasized that those seeking renewal of their accreditation, should apply online at least one month before the expiry of their credentials.
The MFA Media Online Service page can already be seen at http://mmos.mfa.go.th

De Bortoli Cask Wine
2010-07-31 14:55:28
Wine Spectator and Chowhound have both recommended De Bortoli's 'cask wines, that is boxed wine. I think I have seen it served in restaurants in Bangkok but have not yet seen it in any supermarket.
Has anyone out there come across an outlet for this brand?

Leonard Cohen To Perform In Phnom Penh
2010-07-13 13:58:41
Leonard Cohen is scheduled to perform at the Olympic Stadium in Phnom Penh on 27 November.
Ticket prices, however, are a tad high. By contrast his concert in Zagreb later this month costs only 42-60 euros.

Terrazas
2010-07-07 17:21:51
Does anyone know where one can buy Terrazas (full name Terrazas de los Andes) wines in Bangkok? I know the Argentine label is distributed here as it's the house wine at many restaurants and bars around the city. But I don't see it Villa Market, where I usually shop. Foodland? Tops? Wine Connection? Thanks.
