That's easy
Your visa expires in July
If you go back to the UK before the expiry date ( or before end date of your final permission of stay) then get a new multiple non b visa in the UK.
your work permit is not affected by a non b visa renewal. I've done this for years, renewing in Malaysia or UK

You will get a full 1 year multiple entry non b visa- when you renew your WP you'll get a year as well, which means that the visa and the WP will be out of sync. This is no problem.

Yes app must be made in the morning if you want to pick up next day

You can pick up your passport from 10am the following morning

by the way I had heard the Kota Bharu require a certain amount on months left on the work permit to grant a new multiple Non B (7 or 8 months according to different sources)

But I had no trouble with my 6 months and 2 weeks, and didnt have to show any proof of employment contract

I had this issue 2 years ago - had a limited company with office in Phuket, but had to do a lot of work in Krabi
The labour office said I couldnt work in a different area unless my company registered an office in the other region.

There was nothing I could change on the work permit to allow me to work in a different region.
