New Rules For Tourist Visa?

just checking to see if there are any new updates on the rules and documents/requirements needed to apply for a double tourist visa in vientaine, laos. a friend of mine is traveling tonight.
he has 4 photos, passport and copies and will fill out an application. laos fee: $35 us (usa citizen) and 2000baht for thai visa. any thing new? thanks for all responses.

Where Can I Get A Money Order In Pattaya?

i need to send cash (US Dollar currency) to the United States of America. i would like to send it as a money order, but Kasikorn bank only provides cashier's checks in Thai baht. anyone know where i can get a money order around pattaya or maybe a cashier's check in US currency? thanks!

Non "O Visa To Follow My Non B"

hello, i am an american working (teaching) with a work permit. my spouse is not working (also an american). i have a non "b" good for 1 year (just got it 1 wk ago) my spouse is at the end of a tourist visa (april 15, 2011). i want to get an "o" for my spouse and time is of the essence.  i have read 2 different sets of instructions regarding this. the bankok imm. office website says, 15days on the spouse's visa + all kinds of doc's on the school certified and stamped. another site says, we only need a marriage cert. my work permit, proof of employment, and the normal copies of passports, etc.

Which is correct?  i would love to go to bankok and have it sorted. otherwise i must schedule a loas trip amidst Songkran. does anyone know how to sort this out? thanks for any help!

does anyone know where i can buy  epsom salt here locally. it is a compound to put into bath water for detox  or to reduce swelling. one supermarket told me to go to a spa shop. but im not sure where it may be. any leads would be great, thanks.


Non O-Visa For Spouse?

i have a non b (thru employment), how do i obtain an "O" visa status for my spouse. i am in the process now of obtaining a work permit (to be completed within 3 months). what is the process to connect my spouse?  must i get a work permit first? do i need a lawyer  (if so, who do you reccommend and what is the cost),or can i walk through the process myself? by the way, we are both american.
