Wow,what an exciting finish to the season......real edge of the season stuff.
When it was 2-1 to QPR coming into injury time i said "If Citeh get one,theyll score another" so you can either thank me or blame me depending on your point of view !!!
But United should never have been in this position......losing to Wigan and,especially,blowing a 2 goal lead against Everton with 7 minutes to go.
Congrats to Citeh.......overall you were the best team this season !

Macclesfield Town 0 Burton Albion 2
Macc Town relegated from the Football League after 15 years
......in November they were just 1 point off the play offs !
Then 22 matches without a win.......sold their best players without adequate replacements.....big injury list.....sacked the manager,Gary Simpson with 10 games to go then brought back Brian Horton who had previously been sacked for not winning any of his previous 12 games in charge......not surprisingly Macc have only picked up only 2 points in 9 games since his return....difficult to see them getting back into the League as they have very small support.....look at bigger clubs like Luton,York,Grimsby,Mansfield,Wrexham,Stockport,Darlington etc.

In the FA Cup 3rd Round yesterday.....
Macclesfield Town 2 Bolton Wanderers 2
A great performance by the Silkmen against Premiership opposition.Boltons equalizer,13 minutes from time,by David Wheater would not have happened if Wheater would have been sent off for bringing down a Macc player,whilst being the last defender,earlier !
Two other excellent results for our featured teams with Swindon beating Premiership Wigan and Notts County winning 2-0 away at Championship side,Doncaster !
