I have tried to find the Aeon ATM that is meant to be located on the first floor of Central, Pinklao, but I just cannot find it. If there is threre anyone out there who has located this machine, where EXACTLY is it.
I'm getting worn out walking round and round!!
Thanks
Alan

I just saw this on the Immigration Bureau website:
"You could apply an extention stay at every the checkpoint except at the Suvarnabhumi Airport Checkpoint."
Does anybody know what this means?

I have noticed that work on the new buildings at Siriraj is coming along apace now.
Does anybody know what facilities will be housed there, when the fitting-out is completed?

Health Service And Older People

Although this is not directly Thailand related, the report on treatment of people over 65 in the UK by the Health Ombudsman is certainly worth a read, particularly as some UK nationals in Thailand sometimes think that as a last resort they can always go back to home for treatment.
My personal view is that the treatment of the elderly is probably going to get worse, and not better, particularly within the current econmic climate, not only in the UK, but in most western countries. Maybe the long term residents in Thailand should look more closely at the available options here, and make provisions for old age?

I was just looking through my passport, (OK I was at a bit of a loose end), and I came across page 32. It says at the top of this page "This page is reserved for official observations, if any".
Just what are these "observations", and has anyone had any "observations" inserted?
