I had the same problem a few month ago. Numchai is the answer, they come on time, do excellent work, and are not over priced, fixed for me what others could not
You could contact Andrew Drummond, I wont post his web site here, just Google the name, he has a dossier on some of these property dealers and dodgy lawyers, he at least might let you know what your chances are, and whether others have been stunk by the same people
