Sole Proprietorship For Thai People Working Online

Hi,

Is it possible for a Thai citizen to register a sole proprietorship to work online? Is it even required? It seems as though the local government offices don't recognize people who work from home and will only register someone who is involved in e-commerce (i.e., selling online).

Any ideas?

3 Month Indian Visa From Bkk Embassy - 7387 Baht?

Hi everyone,

I just called the Indian embassy in Bangkok. I asked them if the 10-year visa for USA citizens was available. Despite what their website says, the service rep said no. She said only a 3 month visa was allowed which, after all the fees she listed, would end up costing 7387 baht! What's that all about? Anyone with recent experience? Would it be possible to just mail your visa back to the states and have get the 10 year one for much less?

Air Conditioner Thermostate Not Stable

Has anyone else here had an issue with air conditioners not maintaining a constant temperature? My place has an older Trane air conditioning unit. No matter what setting I put it at it never seems to stay at a stable temperature. I've had the thermostat replaced but no luck. It seems to run colder during the day and runs hotter at night, despite not touching the thermostat at all. Is this a fault of the a/c unit or maybe the thermostats just aren't very good quality and fluctuate naturally because of the ambient temperature outside? I'm really not sure what to do about this.
