I don't quite understand the Paranoia on this thread.
Where in the article which does it actually states Chinese is more important than English?
What it says is most Thai Students are choosing to learn Chinese as a foreign language opposed to other western languages
and I assume English isn't mentioned cos it's already being taught in schools.

Eliminating deaths over Songkrann is of course impossible!
Personally I don't think Booze consumption has much to do with it,
most likely throwing buckets of water into Motorcyclists faces whilst driving at high speeds is a bit more dangerous?
Anyway would be interested to know some stat's like how many were killed whilst intoxicated and how many of those killed were on bikes etc. etc.
On a political point I do wonder how the Dems managed to reduce the death toll by like 25% last year? Just Luck or maybe adjusting the numbers?
On a positive note at least they didn't fake the numbers.

Had her name been Suthep she could have resigned her post as MP and got promoted to Deputy Prime Minister.
Seems she doesn't have the same kind of connections though.

Be honest please.
Be honest please.
What is worse? Taking a bribe or attempting to bribe?
Just the other day my Wife got a ticket so next day she went to the cop shop and payed the fine.
I asked why didn't you just try bribe the cop like most Farang do?
She looked at me very surprised and answed that's breaking the law!!
This was downtown Pattaya too.
