Not really. Basic garbage is the priority. Rats don't eat wet furniture. As well, there is nowhere to dump the heavy trash. Where do you propose they put that type of refuse? The landfill sites are still flooded out.
Sure if they don't remove it, the local Thai people will start to burn it and that is another problem!
