For what is on the whole, considered a beautiful country and culture this is a truly shocking incident and i am continually shocked every other week when i read of such incidents here in Thailand.
The economy is one thing but more importantly, socially/environmentally what is happening here and what has gone wrong for one human being to take away the lives of other human beings in such an horrific way for what has been described as a "robbery"?

Yes, i am on the birth cert as his father but i did not sign the cert myself which has some consequences right?
Will i have to do all this in the province where his birth is registared or can i do this in Bk. Does the mother need to be present & do i for that matter due to us both working in another province or can we send all the docs over and get her mother to do it?
Thanx a bunch

That sounds promising. I may give it a go then. Anybody else have any other info regarding the journey up and down that way?

I find it a bit disturbing that so many of you know the prices for having someone killed, not only in Thailand, but in your home countries, how come? I have been here almost 17 years but never seen a price list for this work. If I ever do, then I am obviously mixing in the wrong circles.
I am currently wondering about my future here, had enough, LOS, what a joke. I am trying to sell up and may leave, not that sure yet.
Killing someone in anger is terrible and unforgivable, but killing someone for money is at the bottom of humanity, the most despicable crap on the planet. All Thailand is is money, money, the only value the locals know.

The best post so far.
I would second that.

My Yamaha scooter came from the factory fitted with a reasonable front tyre but the rear had no tread whatsoever down the centre 1/4 inch. Lost the back end a couple of times when I picked it up in October, and there's no way I'm continuing with it into the rainy season without a tyre change.
After a few thousand km, I doubt the OP has worn his tyres out already, unless he's been doing some serious burnouts on his 110! I'd imagine he too has one of these shitty tyres. My advice, buy a new one with tread all the way across and keep this one for the next dry season.

Ye, that's a good idea and something i was thinking of doing. You've just helped me to re-affirm this as i will be taking them old tyres home. Next step is to measure the clearence of the rear tyre (cheers Lickey).
