China Eastern Airlines seem to have the best deal for travel to JFK from BKK for $948 while Delta is around 50,000 baht. I am going to New York in Nov and just wanted to know if anyone has flow this route and any other route to the US and what did you think of this airlines. Looking of course at the seats, are they made for a chinese person or an typical overweight American like me. Also like a flight that's about 21 to 24 hours long. Some flights list 30 to 42 hours, that's not for me.
P.S. never had problems with the seats on NWA (Delta) before.
If this is in the wrong section please move, I couldn't find anything other than this.
Thanks

Pajero Sport

I was looking at the Pajero Sport at the motor show last week. I liked it looks but would like some comments from those who own one or those who looked and didn't like it and why. The cost is about 1,200,000 baht. I like the quartz brown color. I also looked at the new Trailbazer and didn't care for it, seems a little pricey for what you got, and didn't like it's looks.
Very Very Safe Investment In Thailand

I plan to transfer from the US about $40,000 from my stock fund account to Thailand and invest it here with a joint account with my wife so if anything happen to me she would have direct access to this money. I want nothing risky only something very safe and reliable.
Looking for any information available from you guys.
Thank you.

Putting Jelly On Bread Then Putting It In A Toaster
2012-03-06 12:39:48
I have seen this before at resorts I have stayed at. A Thai person will take bread and put jelly on it and put it in one of the rotating toaster ovens. The jelly falls off the bread the sugar starts to burn and makes a mess of the toaster. At least 4 times I have seen this while at a resort.
Now my house maid put jelly on some bread put it in our two slice toaster, of course the jelly fell off the bread making a mess, so what did she do, she put more jellly on another piece of bread and tried it again. What gives here. Then of course she said no it wasn't me. Well either you, wife and me are the only one using this and we are not that stupid. My toaster is a mess, two days cleaning out the burned sugar off the metal.
Are these just stupid people I run into or is it something I just don't understand.
