seeing the property market in Phuket for over 7 years, if you have a low budget, IE 10 Million , use Siam Real Estate... been around for years, very honest, and have some international accreditations..

after anything expensive, use sotherbys

Just to confirm, its not an entirely farang social event?

If not, obviously the thai wives/g/f/s will end up in one corner whilst their farang partners will end up in the opposite corner.....

If its an entirely farang social group, I'd be interested to hear.

I know at least one of the original attendees has a Thai wife so perhaps it is not your thing. However, maybe you should attend as your assumption could be entirely wrong & you will find that Thai people, even the female variety, have good hearts & feelings along with interesting tales of their backgrounds. To view Thai life through the eyes of someone who grew up here is an uplifting experience & certainly helps to understand the culture better. Mixing only with farangs on a social level will never do that. Thais love to socialize as much as anyone & can become quite shy when placed in a mixed situation but when they loosen up there is a lot of fun.

That's a great point about the water drain pipe. I too had thought that it was impossible to inject any gas into a home via the AC unit. But it might be possible via the drainage pipe.
That surprises me from you LIK, I had though you too intelligent to feed this myth.

I agree it's not likely that the average burglar would have resources such as a pressure cannister of sleeping gas. I'm just commenting on the fact that it is technically possible to inject gas into a home via the AC drain pipe.

With regards to my earlier post; I am personally not suggesting anything about the a/c systems (which btw often have a connection to the outside - small condensate water drainage pipe which is connected to a drip tray under the FCU heat exchanger)
