In Topic: Looking For A Cheap Chopper, Ubon Det Udom Area

There is a SYM/KEEWAY Dealer in Ubon and they have a variety of bikes. A few "chopper" style bikes. I stopped and looked at an enduro style bike, 200cc which looked okay. Prices were about 59,000 Baht. They said the bikes were from Taiwan but everything I found on the internet leads them to be made in China.

There are a lot of ifs for getting an extension of stay based having a Thai child. First you must be able to show an income of 40K baht per month or have 400K baht in a Thai bank.
Were you involved in getting the child's birth certificate at the Amphoe? Meaning that you signed as the father.
Only some immigration offices will give the extension with only the birth certificate. Some will want legitimization and others a court order.
Which immigration office you can apply at depends upon where you live.

Yes I went to the Amphoe with my GF's brother and told them my son's name and signed the birth certificate.
Back in April my TR Visa was about to expire on my Triple Entry TR (last entry) so I decided just to go to immigration and get a 30 day extension for the 1,900 Baht. The lady at immigration noticed I had the birth certificate and I made copies and she gave me 60 days for 1,900 Baht and an extension of stay stamp in my passport.
How much does a 1 Year Extension of Stay cost?
What is involved to obtain a multiple re-entry permit?
Thanks
In Topic: Is "Chong Mek " A Good Place For Visa Border Run ?

I use to live 20k from the Chong Mek Border. It was pretty convenient until they went to the 15 Day Stamp! Chong Mek is pretty much a dump IMO. It amazes me how they can have nice Duty Free shops right across the border and nothing here in Thailand.
Are there Border Crossings that will issue Tourist Visas?
