Whats all this bollocks about the PCX being 90000 baht, you can buy new for 78000 baht all in.
Agreed..... I bought my 150cc in Phuket for B.77400 which included Registration and Government Insurance which I considered to be a fair price.

The market will soon be flooded with second hand 125PCXs  under 60,000.
I feel sorry for the one who bought an overpriced 125 PCX end of 2011 / begining of 2012. Now the 125 model is outdated & discontinued.

This is a marketing strategy from Honda:
- pushing the 125 owners to buy the fresh model

PS: I bought a 150 PCX, I hope Honda won't release a 160 PCX in 2 or 3 months Posted Image
Don't know about a 160cc but a rear disc brake on the next model would be a nice touch !

Just picked mine up and I would say it feels smoother (less engine vibration), I always thought the 125 had a flat spot on part throttle, definitely faster acceleration on part throttle, up to a 100 kph easy. feels stiffer on the rear springs and very quiet exhaust note.
Agree with all those observations and given a squirt of motion potion the acceleration is excellent. I think you will also find the Dunlop TT 900's an improvement on the IRC fitted to the 125cc.

I did a fast trip to Lamphun today. First leg I rode along the Ping River until I came upon the Lamphun turn off, I made the wrong turn at a crossroad after about 3 or 4 k and made a circle. Ok I says went left when I should have went right. I went right and hit the 115 road into Lamphun. Drove around a bit in the city, stopped for a lemon tea. Decided to take the 106 back to Chiang Mai about 25 kilometers.

Over all a very nice ride total time riding and drinking tea 3 hours. The new seat an improvement over the stock seat as I can move around a bit more. Had the scooter up to 100k but crazy traffic so unable to open it up all the way.I am a big guy but plenty of power and acceleration.I rode a 125pcx to Mae Hong Song last year it was a dog on steep inclines, the 150pcx was a better preformer on the inclines around the Semong Loop a couple of weeks ago.
I have owned the new 150cc for 10 days now after previously owning the 125cc. Although having only ridden around 400 kilometres at speeds up to 65 -75 KPH there is definitely a marked increase in the performance especially on the inclines, I also think that the rear suspension is stiffer as has been mentioned on this site.
Another improvement is the change from IRC rubber to Dunlop TT 900's.
Being only 5'8" and weighing 82 KG the seat hump does not pose a problem for me.
Overall I'm very happy with my purchase being the Black and Red version which doesn't sound to be the most popular colour but fine for me.
