I must say after reading some of the posts I'm a bit confused here.
MRO/ORM has said that he is having difficulty with password/dual account issues, whilst some posters are of the opinion he has been banned for some other reason.
Does anybody know?
I always thought his posts were informative, balanced and definitely not provocative.
It seems odd.

Thanks for reading.

He can't access his password anymore for his original account (MRO), emails that are being sent to reset his password don't reach him because TV's email address is on some sort of a block list.

Because of that he opened another account (ORM) but it's TV policy that you can't have more then 1 account, so that account is now banned.

Hopefully admin can privately email him with his MRO password.

Almost a month has gone by and no result. Very odd indeed.

In Topic: Want Bring Pick Up Back To Australia

Try this link for some info. I think you'll lose interest pretty fast. A 150,000THB pick up won't add up financially for import to Australia.

It seems 100 3.2 Wildtrak's have been released with more following June, although some Dealers know nothing about it! My mate collected his two hours ago and is very delighted with it.

Do you know how many 3.2's have been ordered in Thailand? Let's hope production speeds up:)

No I don't know how many have been ordered and only Ford TH would know this. He paid deposit early November about a week or so before me. My Dealer knows nothing about it and says they're not available for months and none have been delivered. However my friend is very happily driving his already.

Roaming on GSM (I am AIS customer) is available all over Yangon, but no data or SMS. You can rent a local sim card on arrival at the airport for 2 USD per day, buy your pre paid credit on top. 50USD deposit also.

I just returned from Yangon today and I was there 2 weeks ago with my True & AIS phones. Neither operated there during that trip. Last week prior to leaving, I called AIS and they 'turned on?' my roaming for Yangon. Normally I never have an issue with AIS roaming nor do I have to have it 'turned on', however much to my interest, I found I had very good signal everywhere but could only call between TH and Myanmar. No other countries were possible and most importantly, couldn't even call any local numbers. My next call is to AIS to find out the situation. If I receive any positive news I'll let you know.

The plot thickens! Admittedly I never tried to call, I rented a local phone. I did receive incoming calls from Thailand though, not a problem. I tried sms, it was a no no.
I called AIS and they don't believe me!
My main inconvenience was not being able to call local numbers. By the way, whilst standing outside the Terminal Building I was able to join a free WiFi network and make Skype calls. This might prove handy for others in the future.
In the mean time I arranged a local phone, however one does become reliant on a smart phone after using one for years. All part of the learning curve I guess.
