Atm Transfers After 10Pm

Hi all,

On Saturday night I transferred funds from a Bangkok Bank account to an SCB one at about 11pm via a Bangkok Bank ATM. The transfer was confirmed and the money left my account. BUT the money did not show up in the SCB account then nor has it by Monday morning.

I have phoned Bangkok Bank and they have said they will conduct an investigation. I'm wondering if anyone has had an experience like this before and if so, whether it was resolved satisfactorily. It's frustrating as I'm now reading that there are problems with transfers after 10pm. If that's the case, then they should simply not be allowed.

Any advice, feedback is appreciated.

Lexis/Nexis Available In Bkk?

Hi, I've just been assigned a research task and would like to have access to the very helpful LexisNexis database service. This is commonly available at universities and such in the west, but it is prohibitively expensive to access independently online -- i.e. would not be worth my while for this small task. Its primary use is in law, so they charge what lawyers can afford to access it online. Prices ain't pretty.

Does anyone know if it's available in Bangkok and if so where? University? Major English-language research library (is there such a thing here?)
