You should still have a blue book (Tambien Baan) for that rental house, but correct your wife's name would not be in it. The Tambien Baan is issued to every house, that is how the street (mailing) address is determined. You need that to apply for an electric meter for example.

Thanks for the heads up on that.....I don't want a chili orange though. But that is a thought, maybe a call around to some of the dealers might just turn up one that someone ordered and then didn't take.

I agree it does not give a good impression of Ford, my point was that it doesn't seem to matter. They are selling all they can make anyway.  Sort of like Apple, they have supply problems as well, but doesn't stop people from beating the doors down to get an Iphone/Ipad.

If Toyota does a totally new truck then I would consider that as well.

Sent an email to Peter Fleet about the unavailability of the 2.2 2wd WT. He answered the email the next day, which is impressive in itself, and told me that Ford has instructed dealers to stop taking orders for the WT (2.2). He said they would most likely be opening it up again, but deliveries would not happen until January 2013........

What an enviable position for Ford.

That could be right as I never asked if I could buy that one......not interested in a 4x4.

Does anyone know if it is true that Ford won't even take an order for a 2.2 Wildtrack?
