¡Hi everybody!


I am a Swiss citizen living in Thailand for 3 years now. I have my own business in Chiang Mai and go back to Spain every year in December(Which is the place I use to live before coming to Thailand) . Normally I use to send all the documents required to Hull Consulate from Spain in order to get the Non Inmigrant Multiple Entry "B" VIsa for the reason of conducting a business.(Which is the Visa I have now in my passport). As I am going to Spain next week  I just call them to ask if something has changed this yaer and they told me that now they do not accept aplications from outside United Kingdom.  

I will try to find someone in the United Kindom to send this documents in my behalf. But I wonder if somebody knows any other country in the European Comunity that has a Thai Consulate or Embasy that provides a Multiple Entry "B" VIsa. So I can send   them all the documents from Spain as I use to do with Hull Consulate.

Hello to everybody!

I have a problem in my labtop that runs Windows XP with this program(Personal Shield Pro) that has been auto-instaled and is blocking my acces to any action in the computer with the message "The file is infected Buy Personal Shield Pro to get rid of virus". I read in internet that it is a scam . Also that it is quite difficult to get rid of it. I am not an expert so if anybody can give me the contact of  a person or a shop in Chiang Mai that can do it I will very thankful.

My thai girlfriend and I , we are on the way to buy a land in Chiang Mai in order to build a house. I know that this subject should be complicated but I would like, if possible, a  little bit of your kind help to know:

-Where can I contact a good , flexible,not expensive  and honest architect to make the plans and get the idea of what we want.

-Were can I contact a good company or individual person to take care of all the process and build the house.

-What are the points and matters that I have to be specially careful to avoid problems, delays and overcosts.

I have seen a website of a Company Called Kensington . Atre they reliable? Do they have competitive prices?  Is it recommended to put in charge of all the process to a single company or person ?  Is it better and worth it to buy our own materials?

We are planning to build a house around 200-250 Sqare Wah on a Land around 2 Rais. We are looking for good quality at a reasonable price.

I would like to say that I work in Chiang mai so I cannot spend  more than weekends and  a little bit of time during the week days to follow all the process, buy materials, etc.


I know that to build a house anywhere is a little bit of nightmare and I imagine that in Thailand is much cheaper but at least as nightmare as in any other place. So any advise in which steps I have to follow in order to avoid many mistakes it will be very much appreciated.
