Recent government findings collected through reports made at local police stations through out the kingdom revealed: Over 3 million Thais took extra long jouneys last year while travelling.
Findings show that most found thier destination within 24 hours,12% took up to 48 hours with 3.2% taking longer.183 travelers went on the missing persons report. The main reason for jouneys taking a long time was visiting relatives in the country side that they had not visited for a number of years.
A Mrs Pattiwhat 47 years when interviewed revealed ,that it had once taken her 3 months to reach her uncles home and had to take work in shops and factorys to support her jouney.When asked why she did not call the relative she replied that it was not nesasary as she could remember what  her uncles home looked like.

Has any one lost an iguana or something similar as there is a big one hanging around outside my house in the Bhan bho hin (chiangmai/doi sacket road)area its about 5 to 6 foot in length including tail and bright green underbelly.
