90 Day Reporting (Or Not) And Off To Cambodia

Really not sure about this one, so any 100% advice would be really welcome.

My last employer has not carried out any of my 90 day reports on my extension of stay , and now for my new employer I need to do a quick 'border hop' to Cambodia.

Just wondering what my options are ? My extension is about 11 months old now. should I go to immigration and pay a fine or can I pay that fine at the border with Cambodia ?

Thanks guys and gals

90 Day Reporting

2012-03-10 13:01:54

Hi all,
my 90 day report was due on dec 13, i collected and posted all the documents to chang wattana.
Waited and waited, checked with ups, and they printed out confirmation that it was all signed for on dec 14 , (the floods were still in swing at this time)
But i got nothing from immigration back, what is best for me to do now ?  I am guessing go to chang wattana in person and pay the 2000baht fine ? and start afresh with my 90 day reports ?
(I have a wp if that has any bearing on it?)
Thanks

Scooter Insurance

2012-03-10 12:21:27

Hi all,
The gf just bought a brand new scooter from the shop and I am now trying to find out about insurance. She says she will get the red plates from the shop in 2 weeks, do we have to wait until then to get insurance ?
I have tried asking her, but get totally non committal answers, and i want to know that we are fully covered.
Any clues as to where or how much it will be ? is the bike covered or do we need insurance for every rider ?
Sorry for asking so many questions, any help would be most appreciated
Lloyd

Sick Days

2011-09-18 13:20:35

Hi all,
Situation - I work as a teacher for an agency at a Government school, I am on an 11 month contract. I pay the 750 Baht a month Social fund.
I get 2000 Baht a month 'bonus' for 100% attendance on top of my wage
If I am off sick for 1 day, (with or without a doctors note), I am charged 1200 Baht for that day and lose the 2000 Baht bonus.
If I give less than 1 business days notice of being sick, I am charged even more than the 1200 Baht.

Question - Is this right/correct/legal within Labour law ? ( I am aware that Labour law allows for up to 30 days sick per year, but should they be paid ?)

Thanks
