I know Sugree and there is absolutely no way he engineered this. He is a very nice guy and probably the least money motivated person I know.
This is a classic case of people taking advantage of a guy who is somewhat easily led due to his generosity and willingness to help others, setting him up as a middle-man and then shafting him royally.
Real shame, especially as he is probably going to end up selling all his family owns in order to fix the situation. Somebody somewhere is sitting on a pile of cash but it isn't Sugree.

For 10 years I ran a retirement center for millionaires...
One of the best posts on TV i have read for a while
I agree, i'll take my chances in SE Asia in later life, I would rather die poor and happy than rich and unhappy.
I lived in the UK for most of my life in London and was constantly ashamed of how elderly people were treated there and how many of them lived, abandoned by family.
When I see an old guy here walking along happily with his 20 something girlfriend, the only thing I think is 'good for you', you decided to come here instead of sitting in a house or bungalow on some estate getting abused by the local youth. I feel sorry for the ones that don't come.
(I'm 37 BTW and happily living in the LOS for many years)

It is a problem from most recent reports if you are not doing address reporting.
Your visa date should not have anything to do with it as that only applies to entry into Thailand - you are on a permitted to stay stamp now (not the visa).

The last certificate I applied for and received was 14th July without any issues. I simply presented the rental agreement for my condo, relevant copies of my passport pages and 2 photos.
Unless things have changed within the last month?

It appears you are on 90 day visa entry so not doing address reporting to Immigration which seems to be a requirement now for such papers.
You should be able to obtain from your Embassy however; but have no knowledge of motorcycle purchase requirements - you might find information in that forum.

I have applied for such certificates many times before for buying cars, motorbikes and opening bank accounts. A non-Imm 'O' is fine for this, you don't need to be doing address reporting, but I have never done it outside the dates of my visa stamp.
