                yes , i  have a  letter  from  a  farang  friend  ,  married to a thai lady .
                        they own a  house  in  udon.

can't the sent you a "rental" agreement and then based on renting a house get a non immigrant multiple entry.

Will take 2 or 3 working days i Think, you need fill in the application form and 2 photo's and proof of onward travel I believe the tourist visa'a are still free.
