For all the posters that are posting she deserved being killed are at best callous and bitter. To imply that because she was conversing on face book with another guy that she was cheating on this German boy friend of 3 months, who invested 60,000 baht to get her out of debt. He is a psycho murderer plain and simple. No one deserves to be killed for chatting on a social network. What happen to you DiamondKing and cmone123 to be so callous? That girl is someones daughter you so easily spew your callous statement about. Your are lucky that the chances of any of her relatives seeing your post are slim to none. If that was my sister that was killed and I read your post, I would be extremely passional if I ever ran into you.

Why is it that it always has to be with booze? If you ever had a party without booze you might more and a better class of people. And you asked where? But you did not include Sakhon Nakhon or Nakhon Phanom.

What is it with people bashing the "seedy" side of Pattaya?  Is it some form of self-loathing?  Perhaps it is an attempt to project some type of moral superiority?  I happen to like sex.  I think it is an important part of the attraction for business tourists.  If I were traveling on business, I would much rather go to Pattaya than Salt Lake City, Utah.  The hotels and food may be nicer in Salt Lake and the infrastructure may be vastly superior.  The softer side of things, however, leaves much to be desired.

Better the sage politicians spend their time ruminating about a display screen or doing what they do most of the time: eating, drinking whiskey, visiting their mia noi and playing golf, (not all concurrently, one assumes).

Most of the Falang who come to live in Thailand are not the cream of the crop of society, this would explain why it is so hard if you are a decent person to find good friends . Luckily for me I have never really enjoyed having male friends, and am happy enough in the company of my girlfriend, other ladies or myself.

I reckon Suvarnabhumi the second best airport in the world as is means I am so much closer closer to my chosen home. Top award goes to Udon International because it is a 10 minute drive from home and their brilliant airport security allows the incredibly young, stunningly beautiful and very talented Mrs NL to park right outside the door in the pax drop-off zone and leave the car totally unattended while she comes to meet me.

Now, I am off for breakfast.... where's my rose-tinted glasses?

PS. Another huge, HUGE bonus is that I can fly THAI three times a day between these two airports and leave the alternatives of Nok and AirAsia to the hopelessly impoverished, terminally challenged and those that would normally take a bus. Apart from the odd TEFL'er and Vientiane visa-runner, there's a much, MUCH better class of hoipoloi on THAI IMHO.
