I have, in the last hour, driven from Sathorn to Samut Sakhon using the Chaloem Maha Nakhon Tollway / bridge and them on Rama 2 (35) with no signs of any flooding. Traffic was light compared to normal.

Can anyone confirm? Because Rama II is the last link between BKK & the entire South.

Should have taken Thaksin advise and built the over-the-sea elevated road from BKK all the way to Phetburi (BangKhunTian to ChaAm if I remember correctly). We don't have to worry now.

It is still about 2 km from Central Rama 2. It hasn't crossed Ekachai yet, from what I can see, although it has crossed Kallaprapruek.

Bonobo - where has it crossed Kallaprapruek? Is Kallaprapruek now completely blocked to traffic?

Thai Platinum - has anyone noticed the new top tier Platinum card introduced by Thai? Invitation only so nobody knows what sort of mileage they need to do the reach this status. Probably another perk for the execs and their friends. I fly 15 business class international long haul trips with Thai every year and still didn't qualify. Transparency would go a long way to answering my questions!!!
