The Thai Gouvernment loves Paperwork and stamps. So everybody and everything fills out cards and get stamps.

Your statement is the dumbest I have read here for a long time. Ever thought of poeple who are getting transfered to the UK for job reason? Or British Citizen want to live in their home country with their families ???

You dont need one. But I would suggest one. With apppointment you might have a 10 minute wait, without arround 2 hrs.
