Hello to all.  Not quite sure what I'm doing yet as far as a profile, so I'll start with what's currently happening.  I'm in Thailand on a tourist visa, with the next border run coming up in less than a week.  I was in SE Asia 4 years ago and feel very fortunate to be here again, and for longer this time.  Finding this forum has been the best discovery I've made so far for travel and local info, discussions, notices, etc...  Much kudos and thanks to everyone.

I'm originally from Oregon, and lived in British Columbia for about 4 years. Seen the coastline from a boat off Oregon up to Skagway AK.  I have ambitions of becoming a published writer, though I know that's a big ocean to get noticed in.  Love scuba/snorkeling, fishing, traveling, writing... actually can't think of much I don't like.  Only complaint is that there never seems to be enough time to do everything.

I'll add what knowledge I have to the melting pot when I can.  Hopefully it's helpful.
