My father lives in Nong Khai, where I spent a good part of my teen years. Married to a Thai who graduated at an Australian University where we live.
We have twin boys who are bi lingual.
Me, I am a pom with Australian citizenship who met my Thai/Australian wife and we continue living in Australia where we are extremely happy.
I work predominately in SE Asia, Laos, Cambodia, Thailand.

Positive Stories On How Your Family Reacted On You Taking A Foreign Partner!

My Father was already in Thailand and I actually met my wife 's family through my father so I had no bothers there.

My Mother was a different ball game, she was exceptionally worried for her "wee boy" but given given time and Skype , telephone calls etc she as well as my siblings have grown to love my wife.

Good to have your positive stories and how you managed to over come any hurdles.

I am not interested in comparing it with Thailand etc etc. the positives will suit me fine

Langkawi Internet Access In An Apartment

We are spending 8 weeks in a friend's apartment at the end of the year and have been advised to obtain a 3G Dongle and /or a MiFi adapter
for PC/IPodPhone.
Can anyone advise me where to purchase this please prior to arrival.
Non tech person here, had a look on e bay but non the wiser.

Any help is greatly appreciated and thank you
