Hi all,
I am flying in on the 3rd Nov from Qatar. I was going to stay in Nonthaburi, BKK but due to the floods will probably go to Pattaya. Are the main roads clear for a bus from the airport to Pats?
Any advice appreciated. Thanks.

Condo Purchase- Do I Need A Foreign Currency Account?
2011-08-16 23:11:45
Hi,
All advice appreciated.
I wish to purchase a condo in Bangkok at some point in the next 2 years. I have a savings account with Kasikorn Bank.
I will be working in Qatar soon and intend to transfer monthly deposits to my Thai bank. I will state on the transfer form (from Qatar) 'For purchase of Condo'. I intend to do these transfers for around 2 years and then look for a decent condo.
Is what I am thinking feasible or possible? Do I need to open a foreign exchange account say....UK Sterling account with Bangkok Bank? Do I need to know what the address of the condo will be at this moment in time?
Any help appreciated.

Genuine Over Exhaust For Pcx
2011-07-21 12:35:35
Genuine OVER exhaust (Titanium) from Japan.
This exhaust is 3 months old and is superb. It only has very very slight 'swirl' marks which is caused by cleaning with a cloth. They would polish out no problem but they are very hard to see in any event. The exhaust sounds wonderful without being too loud that would attract police attention.
The cost of this exhaust new is 8,000 baht.

Reason for sale.........I am going with a total red/black theme on my PCX and have ordered a black carbon replacement. The Rainbow exhaust does not fit in with my bikes colour scheme any more.
Sale price.......3,750 baht. This is a true bargain. Exhaust can be collected from either my apartment at Bang Kae, Bangkok or from Sumet Cycle when I go there. Available from Monday.
I can post as well but you will pay postage costs. Thanks.

My 'Modded' Pcx
2011-07-16 02:21:00
I can't decide what is hottest. My bike or my bird?
Had the new lights fitted today. Words cannot describe just how bright these things are. It makes my soi at night look like daytime.
Each light has it's own ballast. There is a separate switch fitted (hidden in the little glove box) so the lights stay off during daytime use. The LED rings are always on, it complies with the law that mo-cy's should have lights on at all times.
Many thanks to Brian, Pam and the guys at Sumet Cycle. They did a fantastic job.
