About Me

Im in Thailand until April, currently based in Chang Mai which I quite, like apart from the crap cinema and crap dvd rental shops
At the mo im living by myself as the g/f has returned to Bangkok, shes got shed loads of work and as a fully paid up slacker am of little inspiration to her.
my Interests are football, Tottenham and Exeter city in particular , photography, film, yoga, poetry, and general banter. Ive just finished a basic Thai massage coarse at Wat po in Chang Mai, which took me far to long but hey,no biggie. Im now back in the uk freezing my cods of!!

Tesco Lotus 'Share Issue'

I may have read it incorrectly but i understand tesco/lotus are selling shares opening next month
they seem to be relentless in their expansion, and 2 me seem to be  prepared  to take on 7/11 in that v

popular and presumably profitable sector.

so whats everyone's thought's  , good investment long term or

short term  or bad

not bought shares in thailand b4 so   advise  or info on where and how to buy

would be useful

Bust Portable Hard Drive

My portable hard drives finally given up the ghost !!!!!!big sigh. whats it gonna cost me to recover approx' 80 gb's of pictures,,,,,,,,,,FFS,,,,

Language School

Hi

I know there's a section on language, but the relevant thread has degenerated into an argument between teachers and now seems out of date,, so I thought i'de try my luck on here. I will be in Bangkok from mid October, for the first month or I will live on Sukhumvit 42 will be looking to study Thai in the afternoons What are my options?, I really dont want to sit exams, but I want to get a basic working grasp on the language . Can anyone recommend a decent local school that has a good track record and also represents good value for money, Thanks v much
