Might sound like a stupid question, does anyone know that if I have the 2 month VISA in my British passport, does that get invoked immediately my next trip to Thailand? Or can I ask for a 30 day stamp instead?
The problem is I got the 2 month VISA expecting to be there for 2 months on my next trip, unfortunately the next trip will only be for 10 days. So if the 2 month visa gets invoked then I have wasted that visa and another page in my passport!
Does anyone know if it's possible at immigration to show my ticket leaving Thailand in 10 days and ask for the 30 day visa stamp instead, so I save the 2 month visa for the next trip, which is when I can really be there for 2 months.
Thanks for any advice.

Using Scb Debit Plus Card For Purchases Online
2011-11-21 19:38:38
Hi. Has anyone successfully used a Siam Commercial Bank Debit Plus Mastercard for an online purchase?
I have the said card but was issued the one without my actual name on it so it just says "Debit Plus" where "Your Name" should usually appear at the bottom of the card. I thought maybe this is the problem since I not seen debit cards with the VIsa or MC symbol without a named person before ...............but then my other Bangkok Bank Visa card, which also doesn't have a specified name on it, works fine for an online purchase.
The rep at the bank when my account was opened said that it works online. They didn't understand what I was saying when I asked how it could work if the online form says "name of cardholder, exactly as it appears on the card" - I have tried both my name and also "Debit Plus" - doesn't work. The only thing I can think of is maybe my gf's address is in Thai but online I input the address in english so maybe it doesn't match during processing? But then why does the Bangkok Bank Visa card wok?!
So before I move all my cash from SCB to Bangkok Bank.....has anyone had similar problems? Or is it that that type of debit card cannot be used online?
Thanks for any advice!

Translations And Notarisations

Hi there. Sorry if this has been asked before of if this is in the wrong section, my internet is soooo slow to do searches.
My gf is currently applying for a US tourist visa but has been asked to get her documents translated into english and to get certified true copies from a notary public before even attempting to submit at the US consulate. Can anyone suggest a reputable service to get this done? How much would it usually cost? Thanks in advance.
