I would suggest getting a job first in Phuket, suss out what is lacking and what you can offer. Then if you do find something you want to do...start small. Ive had a few little sideline gigs with various things and still make some beer money out of them, but I have got steady employment and dont have to rely on the money coming from Phuket. Coming into my 7th year in Phuket I will obviously try a few bigger things, but I am biding my time. Dont go into partnerships with Falangs, do it yourself. A lot of Falangs will do anything to stay here, i got touched by one guy for a decent amount who was a friend to a lot of people and had been here many years. People are not always what they appear here.
