"Meanwhile, a male transvestite was fined Bt500 yesterday for dancing topless at a party in Ayutthaya"

This must raise an interesting legal point. At what point does a man not wearing a shirt constitute a crime even if he has stuck a pair of fake breasts on his chest????
Transvestite Not Transexual.
Totally agree ! I have seen tourists here with bigger MOOBS than most of the lady boys !
Surely fining the man is illegal in itself as he is still a man??? wether he has added breasts or not, just shows the hypocrissy in the Thai legal system.

Funny how the bleeding hearts, anti war-on-drug,"human rights" activists are quiet today. If this drug dealer has been deal with earlier, this poor lady will still be alive.

So you are for thousands of innocent people being killed when they have nothing to do with the drug trade or drug use?
I geuss you forgot about the thousands that are killed by the drugs these people pedal and the famillies ruined by it?
Also the the professionals that get injured maimed and killed along with innocent people trying to keep the places we chose to live free of this DROSS.
I seriously hope that your family and friends are never drawn into or hurt by this disease as maybe then you will have a different view on the killing of a waste of good breathing air in the future.
Sometime Do-gooders have NOTHING to say and they say it TOO LOUD!!

Its illegal by Australian law to travel with more than 10,000 aud without declaring it.
sounds fishy to me.
Per Person ! Do people on here only ever think the worst of others ?
10,000 is not a great sum to have as cash for a holiday when, as someone else has pointed out on here ATM's are charging more and more to get your own money whilst abroad.
If you think they have made a fraudulent claim contact the bloke personally and tell him to his face, instead of stabbing people in the back!

Not so sure this had anything to do with the park.

It doesn't take >12 hours to drown especially if you're out of the water for most of that time. Reckon it would have happened if the boy had been in a shoppping mall and collapsed. Have to wait for autopsy.

My thoughts go out to the parents and relatives of the kid. God rest his soul...

It can and often does happen, it's called secondary drowning.
When water taken into the lungs irritates the lining causing the lungs to form its own fluid to try and expel the irritation.
As stated by someone else on here any near drowning should be taken to the hospital for observation, not that it would do much good here unfortunately.
Very sorry for the young boys loss of life and disgusted that the parents have so little grief that they are already after compensation for such a tragic accident.
