Non Immigrant O Multi Entry From Birmingham

2012-03-09 07:14:02

Anybody had any experience obtaining a Non Imm Multi O visa from Birmingham (UK) by showing bank a statement with balances of at least the pensionable requirement (£900) per month.

By my calculation £10800 is the total,I don't have a pension but could show a balance on a bank statement in excess of this amount and I'm over 50.

I've had these type of visa's issued from Hull before they beefed up the requirements and am currently on a retirement visa which expires soon.

I prefer the flexibility of the multi entry.

Thanks

Retirement Visa

2012-03-06 08:49:22

I'm shortly going back to the UK and am currently on a retirement visa.

My retirement visa expires on May 17th a week or so after my planned return to the Kingdom.

I just want to ask if there would be any problems when checking in for my return flight because they would see that the visa would be expiring in the next few days.

I plan to re apply as soon as I return.

This is my 1st retirement visa and in the past have always returned on a new Non Imm O showing around one year to expiry.

I have a re entry permit already.

Thanks

Retirement Visa Renewal Timeline Question

2011-08-01 08:00:33

I am currently on my 1st retirement visa which doesn't expire until May 17th 2012.

I'm planning on returning to the UK at the end of March 2012 returning here around mid May 2012 (14th/15th).

My question is would it be possible to renew my retirement visa before I travel say around the last week in March as I would not have much time to do it if I return only 2 or 3 days before the expiry date?

Also if I travel back from a UK airport with only 2 or 3 days remaining on my retirement visa would I encounter any problems at check in with this amount of time if I didn't have a return ticket? I usually buy my return tickets here in Thailand.

Thanks
Conversion Of Tourist Visa To Non Imm O

2011-04-11 13:51:27

I'm thinking of going the Retirement Visa route since the Thai Consulate in Hull have tightened up on their requirements for the 1 year multi entry O.

I will probably be re entering Thailand on a tourist visa and understand that this needs to be converted to a Non Imm O so I can apply for the retirement 1 year extension.

Do I need to show 800,000 Baht in my Thai account 60 days when I start the conversion process?

When the Tourist visa is eventually converted to a Non Imm O does the 90 days on the Non Imm O visa start from the date it was converted or does it run from the date I first entered Thailand on the tourist visa?

Any answers appreciated-------Thanks
