Ate a delicious salami pepperoni thin crust pie at Top Cafe soi Wattipapai last month, washed it down with a many cold beers, seems to be a expat gathering there on certain days of the week Quite a trek from where I usually stay, I try to stop by this Pizza Cafe and the mini Tesco in the area there probably once a quarter.

If she is saying Udon Thani area I would bet it is Suwannakhuha in Nong Bua Lamphu Province, typically ladies from Nong Bua Lamphu say they are from Udon Thani province, being Nong Bua Lamphu was established as a new Thai province in the mid 90s. Nice village areas, beautiful mountains, caves, buffalo eaters; Suwannakhuha claim to make the largest sticky rice balls in Thailand.

Pulled mine out of Montessori and Mooltripakdee Brit curriculum schools felt both were overrated and way overpriced, and put them in Maryvit where English, Thai and Chinese is standard bi-lingual model study there.

Purchased some off brand Power-Z made-in-Thailand running shoes at Bata 699 thb, about 6 months down the road they have been holding up pretty good. Been searching to get another pair or two in the <1000 thb price range looking around Pattaya and Bangkok, been to a many stores, seems really hard to find us13, eur48, uk12 sizes here. SuperSports at different locations seemed to have only small sizes with way over overblown prices being sold by snobby sales staff. My opinion paying more than 30 bucks for a pair of sneakers is stupidity, unless you are going to be using them for some professional athletic event. Even so barefoot encourages natural walking and running motion.

Udon Thani old bus station 042221489 have air con bus to Pattaya about a 10 hour ride, was 550thb a few months back, believe they have lots, 8 or 10 departing daily.

VIP bus, maybe check out Roong Prasert Travels 042343616 heard they operate those 20 seat VIP busses to many locations.
