I'm expecting a new passport soon as my current passport is full

My visa is in my current passport but it expires very soon(within approx. a week of my new passport arriving), when my new passport arrives the old passport will be expired automatically, do I need to get the visa transferred into the new passport just for the few days it'll be valid for? Or can I just use my old passport to exit and use my new passport, including new visa(acquired whilst I'm away), to enter Thailand again?

I'm just about to send off my application for my passport renewal, I was wondering if I needed to get 2 International Banker's Drafts - 1 for the application and 1 for the return DHL courier fees? Or should I get 1 single draft for both payments? Any experiences?

And 1 more thing, is it possible to get an Intl bankers draft at any branch of any bank?

I haven't had a chance to take my son down there yet but I will tomorrow, I see that the holiday goes on until the 17th but will the celebrations only be on Sat & Sun on KS Rd?

I've tried again and again to connect certain laptops and mobile devices to my home network and I'm just about at my whits end!

I changed from the slow True-provided modem to my own older setup a few years back, although it increased speeds and reliability, it's left me without support from True when it comes to network problems and I really don't know what I'm doing, at all.

For example; in my office I use a desktop PC, a netbook & now my new Samsung Note; the PC is connected to my router by cable, the netbook is on wifi but the Note is unable to connect to my wifi.
Is it possible that my modem/router setup is just too dated for my Note?

I've always been worried about changing modem/router in fear of not being able to set it up and get all my devices networking smoothly, so how easy is it?

If I went to the IT mall and bought a modem/router would I be able to come home, plug it in(wired correctly, hopefully) and off I go? Or will I have headaches?
