Im staying in Thailand on a non immigration visa based on marriage and I am permitted to stay until 19th of June.
I planned on going to Immigration applying for a one year extension on 22nd of May (all paperwork is taken care of)..
How long does the extension of stay application take?
I have to go to the States around the 20th of June but I am not sure what date is best to book my ticket. I assume immigration will give me an extension of stay starting on June 19 and that I can leave the country right after that date with a reentry permit.. What I am worried about is - What happens if the application is not finished before I have to leave the Kingdom?

Hi All..
I´m back in the saddle! A year of hard work and injuries have passed and I am ready to hit the roads again. This is a short clip filmed on route 12 in between Chum Phae and Lom Sak last week. Awesome road and lovely scenery.. and insane truck drivers:)! Enjoy the Video..

Opinions About A Few Housing Developments
2010-12-19 20:00:44
Hi All
I am going to move from Bkk to Chiang Mai in april next year and recently I was in CM looking for houses. I looked at/in plenty of moo baans but I never contacted anyone to have a look inside the houses. I was mostly there to get a feel for different developments.
Could anyone tell me about their experiences from looking at houses or living in either of these developments:
Laguna homes (either of the phases)
Urbana
Siwalee land and houses (canal road)
The Emperor 1 (canal road)
Home in Park
Koolpuntville 12
The TwoGether (canal road)
Closeness to a bilingual or international school, ease of travelling to the city, internet connection possibilities, noise level, quality of the buildings, pricing (rent!) etc etc.. actually you can tell me about anything that springs to mind. I want to hear you personal reflections.. Thank you beforehand!
Cheers,
Dunder

Northern Adventure - Part 2

7 in the morning and I needed to try the last part of route 120 from Chiang Mai to Phayao. Fantastic and superbike friendly road even though you better be careful in some of the sharp curves if you want to ride it. Sand, gravel and liter bikes is a bad combination!
Unfortunately the low standing morning sun destroyed a lot of my filmed material, but a few minutes were decent enough to publish.
Hope you enjoy,

ps. If you like my videos you can subscribe on youtube since I'm not sure I want to publish them here in the future

Northern Adventure - Part 1

This clip is the first from my recent mini-vacation to Chiang Mai. The movie is shot on Route 11 (close to Lamphun I think) going towards CM from Bkk..
The North must be heaven on earth for riding btw.. or is it just the lack of decent roads around Bkk that makes me think like that?!
Enjoy
