Arab/Turkish/Indian Style Barber In Pattaya?

2011-03-16 09:13:13

I used to get great haircuts in the Middle East, and was wondering if there was anything comparable in Pattaya.

I’ve done some internet searching and tried out a few in person, but no cigar.

The best I found was at the Kuwait Airport and was run by Lebanese.

I also had similar service with Indian barbers, and one Turk barber.

At the airport, the “Works” package included Shampoo, Facial, Haircut and eyebrows trimmed, shave including around the full hairline, waxing the nose and ears, sometime singeing the ear hairs, facial hair threading, and a 5-10 minute head/back/arms/head massage.

It was a very good price as well (for Kuwait), about 1000 baht ($30USD), but I felt like a million bucks.

Here are some videos if some of ya’ll haven’t seen a few of the techniques mentioned.

Visa Agents In Poipet And/Or Siem Reap....

2011-02-17 01:59:52

If you have any info for visa agents available in Poipet or Siem Reap (For Thai visas) please list here.
Phone #'s, prices, time needed, email address/websites, etc would be good info.

I will be needing one to go to PP to get me a 2x Tourist Visa.
Either town will do for me as I will be staying in both places, but would prefer Siem Reap as planning on staying there longer.

Thanks!

Haven’t seen hardly anything advertised or talked about on the web (maybe advertisement is overrated?), so please share if you know of any Thanksgiving meals being served, i.e.,

Name of place, location, set meal or buffet, consisting of, times, prices, and if reservations are needed, etc.

Thanks,

And Happy Thanksgiving!

Where To Stay In Sihanoukville?

2010-11-24 07:45:49

For the short-term:

I have been considering Serendipity & Ocheteaul beaches.

Have spent lots of time looking on the internet, but just when I think I have found a place, the really bad reviews start coming into view.

Here is what I need:

Aircon

Good, free WIFI in room (I work on the innerwebbs)

Bed for two

Safe

En-suite toilet/shower

Security

A pool would be nice, but not required.

Budget from $1 to around $35 a night.

Long-term:

Aircon

Good, free WIFI in room (I work on the innerwebbs)

Bed for two

Safe

En-suite toilet/shower

Security

A pool would be nice, but not required.

Budget from $1 to around $20 a night.

Thanks!
