Was looking for a new place to eat last night. Ended up in Suay Restaurant in Phuket Town after finding it high up the list of good restaurants in Phuket on Trip Advisor.
Good mixture of Thai and farang eating there. Nice setting, great thai style fusion food, very well priced (5 dishes, 2 drinks - 520 baht) and polite staff...Definately worth a visit if you are in the area.
Edit, add address:

yes, all notebook sold in singapore come with an OS. you can upgrade (32-bit to 64bit) or downgrade to XP with extra charge.
the warranty is international, no problem when you drop in thailand service centre for repairs etc.

There's a couple of computer centres in Singapore if I remember right?
And they have websites.
maybe you can help with the names or web addresses?
I'm currently back and forth between Singapore and Thailand right now and prices in Singapore (coupled with the poor exchange rate) are little or no cheaper than Thailand.
Singapore has a couple of places worth checking out, Funan IT as previously mentioned and Sim Lim Square. Funan is more friendly and has a great selection. I actually prefer to have the Thai character keyboard as I quite often type in thai. I've bought my last 2 laptops in Thailand.
Low Yat in KL is a good place also as previously mentioned and if you ask they will install OS with additional cost. Prices are sometimes shown with no OS as maybe the user wants to install a free Linux OS rather than using Microsoft.

The wife always tells the shop on the phone before they bring over the replacement bottle that the existing bottle is new. Then they bring a like for like.

Check out any GNC stall, normally found in Tesco-Lotus outlets. They sell 100 tabs of 250mg Niacin for 500 baht.
See similar thread for a guy who who looking for it in Phuket and found it (I know this thread is not for Phuket but GNC outlets are everywhere). http://www.thaivisa....acin-in-phuket/
