Married 2.5 years and we left Thailand 6 months ago to live in Australia. I think our relationship works because we are both happy to try new things. I was willing to do the village-thing in Thailand, build a house on our land and spend time getting to know my in-laws. Here in Australia the hubs is studying English full-time and has thrown himself into learning how to function in a new country. We've never had a major fight and I'm sure our flexibility is the main reason. To be honest, hubby would have been the right man for me, no matter which country he came from. I don't think the fact he's Thai really played into it much.

yes i would also like to know that as well as... additionally there is a restaurant on Suhkhumvit advertising all natural cooking.. has anyone been there and do you know if they use MSG... its in building with allot of telephone cables out from all dangling from concrete poles and quite often hawkers sit on steps to restaurant. Just outside there are allot of cars and just above the restaurent is a skytrain.
OP did you just jump outa the book " Hitch Hikers Guide to the Universe".... 5 storey block.. Ohh yes i know that one... its the 5 story one not the 4 story one which is right next door which has the Thai seafood where the prices are so so and not the one next door as technically that is a 4 story with roof garden and yes the roof garden does have a restaurant but it doesn't serve kosher food on sundays... instead that day is devoted to hippo racing.. come watch but you have to be naked.
calling all Jomtien-ites please be on look out for 5 story condo block.. could be seaside could be not. Investigate immediately any restaurant or eatery on ground floor and full report back on price range. Might also be useful if you could have a chat to kitchen staff.. how long have they been open, do they use MSG, any problems with health inspectors .... together we shall find this eatery OP fear not......
